In some parts of the Philippines, you can earn 18,000 a month in this industry, better than managing a fastfood restaurant like Jollibee or McDonalds, it might be also better than lending business.
But, Stress is your main enemy, working all night listening to costumers with different culture and different mood is exhausting.
Well, Don't you have the ability to speak English so well? and wants to earn more than a call center agent do? YOU COULD! and also it's an underated job that do not need your diploma but your skills and hardwork.
Will you believe that a Tomb Painter and Cleaner can earn 20,000 to 25,000 a month ? Yes, it's true, even if it's not an everyday job, November is the best month for this job, for every tomb your painted and clean, you could earn up to 700-1,500 depending on the costumer's tip and your service fee.
Jeepney Barker or Dispatcher is also better than Call center agent, not believing it? well, this service can earn you 22,000-30,000 a month, mostly, in some jeepney stops, a Barker can earn 5 to 10 pesos per Jeepney, as I interview a barker, he said that in 1 hour, he can earn 100 pesos depending on the time where there are frequent passengers, to earn like this one, you have to be on the jeepney stops where people usually get their ride, like outside a school, outside a mall, church or some jeepney terminal. you can earn 5 to 10 pesos per Jeepney in every 3-5 minutes (depending when the Jeepney is full).
Embalmer is also great even if it's creepy. You could earn 22,000-35,000 a month, well, it will just depend, if you have license, some Funeral parlors will hire you and gave you big wage for every body, you could earn 800 pesos per body, and can prepare two to four bodies in one day, if you don't have license, you still can but you need a time to search for parlors who don't care about license.
Mobile Phone Technician, I know you saw a lot of these people in the sideways specially in mall or where many people goes by, but yes, it's better as you could earn 25,000 to 35,000 a month, aside from it won't require you diploma, you just need Google o training to have this job, you could earn atleast 800 pesos in 8 hours as you can repair a basic defect in less than 30 minutes, also, you must be in a place where lesser technicians appear to grant you more profit, having an own repair stand is better than being employed.
Jeepney Driver, well, a dispatcher or barker is earning better than call center agent, how come a Jeepney Driver is not? Jeepney driver earns 30,000 to 40,000 a month. If you're living in a crowdy place like Metro Manila, this is very possible, you can earn atleast 1,000 a month because of the high fare which is hard to rollback as the fare don't totally depend on the gasoline, it is just an excuse to increase the fare, the minimum fare is 7.50 pesos and you can load up to 24 passengers per ride, this means you're earning atleast 150.00 per ride and you can have 6-10 rides per day depending on the traffic.
Shoe Repair man, Handyman, Therapist and Ukay Vendor is also great than Call center too, you could earn atleast 25,000 pesos a month depending on your skills, you don't need to have diploma on these jobs, just a training and you can bring it on, you can repair a shoe in less than an hour and that could have you 300 pesos per repair, also, fixing faucet, electrical outlet, plumbing or masonry which a handyman do can cost a costume atleast 500 pesos in a couple of hours work. Therapist is also great, massage parlors ask at least 200 pesos for one hour massage, if you are good at massaging, you can earn bigger tips.
But if you want to be at home, eating while working ? or playing MOBA games, reading news, entertaining yourself while watching movies or listening music and still working and earning high wages? then blogging or freelance writing is the best choice, all you need is a unit to work on, computer or laptop or even netbook, and internet connection, also, you must need to have creativity and good English for online service, well, you can just use the Google for help actually, unlike call center which will cost you more stress as you're talking directly to the costumer, blogging or writing takes time to finish and your costumer will give you enough time for it.
No matter what job you have, if you enjoy it, keep it, if not, then go for a better job where you find happiness. Meow.
